Back to paddling on Maui!

Well it was a great trip to Mexico and we had a lot of fun, but I was glad to get back to paddling this morning at home, on Maui.  The conditions were perfect and the water clear, just the way I like it.  Wispy clouds hung over the mountain and the ocean glistened in the sun.  It felt so good to paddle again after a two week break!  I could feel the energy in my body as I paddled down to the boat ramp.  I saw one turtle down there, but it didn’t stick around and as I paddled back,  several fish jumped right out of the water in front of my board!  I wonder how they are able to propel themselves out of the water like that?  Jumping fish always take me by surprise!  All in all, it was a really nice day and I got to see some of my paddling friends too.  So glad to be home!
