Interesting conditions!

We have been having some interesting conditions lately.  The wind that usually comes up around noon, has been coming in as early as 8:15 a.m.!  This was the case on Monday.  Yesterday the conditions were very nice and glassy, and today there was an intermittent wind from the south and also onshore.  Paddling was still very enjoyable, though,  and I did see one turtle down by Kam III!  I don’t know where the rest of the turtles are hanging out right now, but they seem to absent.  When the wind did kick up, it created little white caps that were breaking around me making a hissing sound.  Every time I would see a white cap form, I would think it was something in the water and paddle over to it.  I guess I was hoping to see something really interesting today!  But some days are like that, some days are just about enjoying the scenery and the experience of paddling.  I sure can live with that!

Mary, it is wonderful when you press in and “get” that nothing is really something, huh? I loved the visual of the white caps. And your story the other of the one turtle recurrently popping its head up made me smile. Love your blog…I can almost feel the wind. Blessings, Genie
