Gray Day and Threatening weather!

The last couple of days have been windy and stormy so this morning the wind wasn’t blowing so I was determined to get out on the ocean.  The skies were overcast and the day was very gray…. but I went out anyway.    As soon as I started paddling, the wind came up and I started wondering if it was going to get stormy.  I paddled north and saw some whales out farther, but they were farther out than I wanted to venture with the weather and conditions being uncertain.  It got choppy and I paddled down to Kam III and decided to turn around.  I paddled back and the wind was still making the ocean choppy but it wasn’t getting any worse.  During my swim, I swam north against the wind, and then rode the wind back, and the water was amazingly clear!  Up on shore, it was mostly tourists there, hoping for some sun.  I could see out in the ocean that it was starting to rain, so I went home, just in case it was coming to shore!  Well it is December after all, and paradise has stormy days too….. maybe it will be better weather tomorrow.
