Paddling today!!  Finally a super nice day fir Paddling!  I paddled south down to the boat ramp.  There were a few people already there and no turtles were coming up.  I waited and waited….. then one by one, all the other people left.  Suddenly the turtles started to surface!  I found myself sitting in between turtles, there was a turtle line…. and I was surrounded! I had fourteen turtles to myself!  It was great!  Then Paddling back I spotted another big turtle right outside of Kam 2.  Fifteen turtles in all out Paddling today!  I hope it’s nice tomorrow too!

Gorgeous morning!  No rain!  Pink morning clouds and a sunrise.  I walked the beach before the sun came up and then went swimming.  I ran into two turtles at the same time!  I got them both in the same video clip too.  I had to choose which turtle to swim with so I chose the curious one!  She was beautiful and I got some great photos.  Then I went Paddling too!  It was so nice.  Spring has perhaps sprung!

Nice!

What a nice morning!  The sun rose over the mountain uninhibited by clouds and it actually stayed nice.  I walked the beach and then took off for my swim.  I ran into the turtle missing it’s left front fin and swam with it for a few minutes.  I decided to call the turtle “Finn” since I have seen it twice this week already.  It moves quite well despite missing the fin!  I enjoyed my swim a lot and then took my board out too!  I paddled down to Kam 3 and then turned around.  I stopped by the point but didn’t see any turtles there.  It was such a nice day ….. with just a little bit of shorebreak ….. but hopefully the conditions will be even better tomorrow.  Maybe Spring has actually “sprung”!

It sure was a mixed bag of weather!  A colorful sunrise sky and rainbows….. then the sun came out.  I walked the beach and went swimming in some light rain …. then while I was swimming with this beautiful turtle….. it started pouring rain!  What a trip!  The water was choppy but really clear.  Back on the beach…. all my towels and stuff got soaked!  Sand on everything!   I had to haul everything home soaked.  It wasn’t fun.  But the turtle hanging out with me made it all worth it!  No Paddling today…… maybe tomorrow…..

It wasn’t raining this morning!!!  I walked the beach and went swimming.  The sun didn’t make it out until later.  I swam with one turtle but she was in quite a hurry!  I managed to get one photo and a video and then she headed out to sea.  Then I actually went Paddling today too!  It was still a bit overcast but the wind was cooperating.  I headed south to the boat ramp.  The first few minutes I was the only one there and enjoyed NINE turtles!  I got to sit between turtles.  I was surrounded!  I even saw Bumpy!  Then a boat showed up with snorkelers and they killed the tranquility.  Oh well.  I paddled back in nice conditions but I saw no turtles on my way back.  Ten turtles today was fine with me!  I hope tomorrow is just as nice……

A nice surprise after a very gray and rainy day….

It was a cloudy morning.  Still Vog in the air and a little sun too.  The water was so calm!  I walked the beach and then headed out for my swim.  A lovely turtle met me and I had a wonderful swim with her and took a bunch of photos!  Then I ran into another smaller turtle heading north.  It was missing it’s front left fin!  The turtle had a number marked on it too.  It was swimming fine and otherwise looked very healthy.  I didn’t paddle, even though it looked good out there because I had an appointment to get too.   I hope it’s nice tomorrow!

Out of a dark gray sky….a colorful sky emerged in an instant!  It was magical!

No sunrise this morning!  Cloudy overcast skies and choppy conditions.  I walked the beach and then went swimming but there was some shore break.  I hurried out past the break and the water was amazingly clear.  I enjoyed my swim but I was getting jerked around which was weird.  No turtles today either….. just a fish harassing a crab who buried itself in the sand to get away from the fish!  I had to be careful coming in….. I didn’t want to get hit by one of those waves.  The sun just wasn’t coming out!  Soon white caps appeared and it was clear that it wasn’t a Paddling day.  The lifeguard said these conditions might last until Friday…… not again!  Oh well…. Spring better get here soon!
