When I got up this morning….it wasn’t windy.  I hurried down to the beach and walked before the sun came up.  The water looked so nice….. I couldn’t wait to swim!  And such clear water!  I swam and swam but no turtles came by today.  I was anxious to come in and go Paddling and I heard the lifeguard announcing that some paddlers were too close to a whale!  Then I really wanted to go out on my board!  I heard there were three whales out there!  Well no sooner did I come in from swimming…. the wind started up…. again. It’s just not worth it to me to get everything out and then struggle with the wind.  Maybe tomorrow the wind will cooperate……

Beautiful…. but windy morning.  The wind has been so chilly!  I walked the beach until the sun came up and then headed out for my swim.  The water is warmer than the air!  No kidding!  I had a great swim.  Yesterday I got to swim with two lovely turtles and today I watched two fish harassing a crab!  It’s great to be back out in the water,  finally.  As soon as this wind normalizes ….. I might be able to get back out Paddling.   I sure hope it’s soon!

Beautiful….. but breezy morning.  I walked the beach until the sun popped up over the mountain.  It was chilly!  I went for a swim and swam with two turtles!  I was so happy to see them!  It was warmer in the water this morning.  This wind is so chilly! I’m waiting for a nicer day of conditions to go out Paddling …..

Finally a decent morning!

It’s been SO stormy!   Loud thunder….. lightning last night….. pounding rain.  The sky cleared some for sunset tonight and the sun peaked out temporarily just before it set.  The clouds were so beautiful!  The ocean pretty stormy.  The rain has stopped for now and the weather is supposed to improve.  If it’s not raining in the morning….. I might have to get in a beach walk and at least jump into the ocean!  I feel like I haven’t had a decent swim or gone Paddling for weeks.   I’m getting very antsy for some decent conditions!  I did get to wear my cool rain boots and splash in the rain puddles though……my husband said I was like a three year old.  That’s a compliment!

Come on!  I need some nice conditions now that I’m cleared to get back in the ocean!  I walked the beach in sprinkling rain as the shore break roared…… the sun was not going to come out.  I just had to get in that water!  It felt great…… kicked up with sand in it….. but I got in!  I’m just waiting impatiently for better conditions. Maybe this coming week if we get a break from Winter swells….I really miss swimming, my turtles and paddling!
