Nice morning swim! I only saw one turtle today and it popped its head out of the water just as I was getting in. Unfortunately I didn’t see it again but a big school of fish swam with me anyway! I hope to paddle tomorrow if the a/c repair guy cancels……. I really need my a/c!
I hope to get out paddling while it’s so nice….. but while our a/c is being replaced …. I only really have time for an early swim. It’s been fun hanging with the turtles though! I am finding they behave differently this early ….. they are just hanging out and eating seaweed… and not just passing through. It’s been fun watching them and photographing them! It’s also nice that not as many people are at the beach either. So… one more day hopefully and then I will have time to paddle again…….
Lovely turtle morning! I only had time for a swim but it was great! Six friendly turtles munching seaweed and hanging out with me! I loved it!

It was a beautiful start to the day with the sun peeking over the mountain….. and it was a calm ocean. I wish it would have stayed that way….. but the wind had other plans. The wind was blowing from the east, but not blown out, so I went out paddling anyway. I headed south into the wind and got as far as Kam 3…… and then turned around. It was good to get out there anyway! I stopped at the point for a few minutes but it was a bit choppy and no turtles were around. Swimming was great though and a school of little fish swam with me! Maybe I’ll see turtles tomorrow……
