It was a beautiful morning!  It started out with a pink sky!  I must have been a few minutes earlier today to see the sun rise over the mountain.   It won’t be long before the sun will be coming up over the mountain later than it is now.  By the time I got back down to the beach…… it had all changed!  Clouds had moved in and the wind was making the ocean choppy already.  It was going to be another swim day.  The water is about 80 degrees and still pretty clear….. so I can’t complain!  Hopefully I can paddle tomorrow…….

Just wow!  Another nice paddling day.  It was not quite as calm as yesterday…. but nice enough!  I paddled down to the boat ramp and I was the only person there.  I almost thought no turtles were showing up but then the show began just for me!  Seven turtles visited me there and then one more at the point.  Then I went swimming.   Thankfully the wind cooperated!  I was about done with my swim when a turtle showed up swimming south.  Of course I turned around to swim with it!  I got a short video but the turtle was out-swimming me!  Suddenly it got interested in a clump of seaweed and dove down.  Then another, bigger turtle showed up and the two turtles touched noses in a “turtle kiss”!  It was so cute and I got a photo to prove it.  The two turtles swam around me as I took a bunch of pictures of them.   At one point I was trying to take a photo of turtle #1…… and turtle #2 ran right into me brushing me with its fin!  I got a photo of that too!  This play session went on for some time and I got some amazing photos.  I was so exhausted when I swam back!  What an amazing turtle day!  I am loving this underwater camera……

Well it was a gorgeous day and the water was glassy….. no white caps in sight.  I paddled down to the boat ramp and had eight turtles all to myself!  It was so calm and nice.  A few turtles were just babies!  As soon as the wind threatened….. I headed back….. but by the time I was passing Kam 2….. it roared in and got crazy fast!  It was a big workout getting back but I just kept paddling.  It was so windy when I came in that I could barely get my board up the beach!  It was a miracle that I managed to get it up on my racks by myself.   My swim was very choppy and I didn’t see any turtles.   I swam against the wind and then let it toss me around on the way back!  I hope the wind cooperates better tomorrow….

Wow! Another turtle day!  Not as calm as yesterday but still plenty nice.  I paddled south down to the boat ramp and had ten turtles visit me.  Many of them were pretty small turtles too.  It was a little bit windy already so I didn’t dare stay too long but ten turtles!  Then on my way back….. a turtle surfaced on the point too. My swim ended up great too with a turtle to swim with and getting lots of video and photos!  I love these kind of days!  Twelve turtles in all……

Oh wow….. what a gorgeous day for paddling and swimming!  It could not have been nicer.  The wind cooperated and didn’t start coming in until noon so lots of people were paddling, kayaking and swimming today.  As soon as I started to paddle out ….two turtles appeared underneath me.  Then a big turtle surfaced by me just as I was passing the point!  So three turtles before I even got past Kam 1!  It was super nice conditions all the way down to the boat ramp.  I was early enough to miss the snorkel boats but there was a tourist couple there out on a kayak taking turns snorkeling.  There were so many turtles!  I was surrounded twice by six turtles and the rest were just popping up like jack in the boxes.  I got a bunch of photos.  I lost count on how many turtles there were today….. but there were more than twenty of them for sure!  Swimming was really nice too and the water is so clear right now.  I didn’t see any turtles while swimming but I had already had so many turtles…..  I hope tomorrow is just as nice as today!

Beautiful day for paddling!   Nice conditions all around.  I headed to the boat ramp and eight turtles visited!  First three turtles and then four turtles surrounded me.  Then a fifth turtle joined in and they made a line with me in front of them!  It was great!  I paddled back in nice conditions and went swimming.  I was having fun videotaping a Rainbow fish when the sand got stirred up and the wind had roared in.  It was work swimming back but the water is a lovely 80 degrees!  The wind has not stopped yet….. it was so perfect while it lasted….
