So I got my wish…… another nice day and paddling two days in a row! I am loving these nice conditions and feel the need to fully enjoy each day (who knows when it might change?). It was not as perfect as yesterday with some intermittent wind kicking up chop but I can’t complain. I headed south hoping the wind would back off but by the time I got to Kam 3….. it hadn’t changed. I decided to stop there and paddle north but suddenly three turtles appeared so I had to stop. I noticed that one turtle was sort of chasing another turtle …… so I watched to see if they would surface. Well…… one of my photos tells the story! It was a male trying to climb on top of a female! I guess I ruined it for them…… but I did get a photo of one of them. Amazing the photo actuall came out quite clear! ( You can see the top of the males shell and the flipper of the female). Mother Nature just doing her thing! Anyway….. on my way back I spotted a turtle at Kam 1. The poor thing was being stalked by a snorkeler. It clearly wanted to surface but it was trying to stay away from the person harassing it! When the guy saw me…… he retreated away from the turtle. I think he was afraid I was someone who could arrest him for doing that to the turtle. I wish I was! My swim was also very nice and I’m totally enjoying this clear water. I saw a pretty big fish too and lots of smaller ones. I was so happy to see turtles and fish today! I’d like to order another nice day for tomorrow, please?
