Lovely morning for swimming with turtles!  Four turtles joined me.  They are such beautiful creatures!  It got windy so no paddling today…..

It was nice to get out Paddling!  Four lovely turtles joined me out there.  I was so happy to get out on my board!

It’s been great!  So many turtles right now!  I love being surrounded by them.  One of the turtles has been following me around like a puppy lately!  Swimming has been wonderful……

Lovely turtle day!  The water visibility has improved!  Six turtles today to swim with.  They were coming up three at a time!  One turtle kept photo bombing one of my videos….. despite me trying to move away from it!  One turtle just cruised around by me and even rubbed up against me as it swam underneath.  Amazing!

It was a windy morning from the start….. but luckily for us….. it was blowing in the right direction to keep the Vog out.  I used to wish for no wind days for Paddling ….. but with the volcanic eruption on the Big Island that sends nasty Vog our way continuing to be a problem, I am thankful for the trade winds!  When there is a calm morning ….. I will go out Paddling …. otherwise I am content with walking and swimming right now.  It’s just how it is.  I had five lovely turtles this morning!  The south swell has the water visibility compromised but at least I could see the turtles……. that is….. when they were right on me!  I didn’t mind!  The swim back from the point was a workout thanks to the wind.  It was a beautiful morning!

It was a beautiful morning with just a bit of Vog, but I could still see Lanai which was good.  After my beach walk…. I headed out swimming.  There is a southerly swell creating a few waves and semi choppy water.  It is also affecting the water clarity but so far…. not as much as I expected.  I started off the morning with two turtles all to myself….. then six more turtles came by.   Then too many tourists…. so I left.  The thumb joint on my left hand got sore yesterday and I have no idea why.  It didn’t bother me swimming but it sure is sore….

It was a beautiful morning with very minimal Vog.  The breeze was blowing from the north thus keeping the Vog in check.  The water was choppy during my swim which might explain why two of the usual turtles were MIA today.  Even so…. I had five turtles today!  A southerly swell has kicked up the water clarity too making it more cloudy than usual.  I still got some nice photos despite the limited visibility and hopefully one day soon it will be a good day for Paddling ….

It was another great turtle day!  Too many tourists…. but oh well.  I had eight turtles to swim with today!  I didn’t paddle because I’m still watching my back.  There is still some Vog but the wind was blowing today so hopefully it blows out by tomorrow….

Wonderful turtle days lately!  It’s been great making the longer swim down to the coral and seeing the turtles!  I love photographing them.  No paddling today because my back hurt yesterday so I’m trying not to aggravate it.  Hopefully tomorrow!
