I love my turtles!!! It would be nice if the wind would blow the Vog out! I had my first turtle encounter of the day just outside Kam 1…… the turtle was just sitting in the ocean floor and then it swam up where I was! I got some awesome photos! Though… I had to delete some of my photos because tourists swam in my way. Six more turtles down at the coral! I even got to go out Paddling too…. it was so nice! Hopefully the conditions will stay nice…
Five beautiful turtles to swim with today and two while Paddling! I wish the water clarity would improve but at least I can see the turtles! I was having a great time when the camera battery went dead though….. but then I had time to go out Paddling too so it’s all good! I hope tomorrow is the same…..
The Vog is back. The regular trade winds won’t be blowing until later tomorrow….. so voggy it will be until then. The conditions were nice for swimming! Five turtles to swim with today! I tried to steer clear of psycho tourists today and that was an improvement. I had to leave the beach early due to an appointment I had to go to… so no Paddling today ( although it was perfect Paddling conditions …) maybe tomorrow….I hope!
It was a very beautiful day! The wind is backing off for the next couple days…. so I’m taking advantage of the nice paddling conditions! First I swam, though, and had four lovely turtles to swim with. Some tourists were being rude but I wasn’t going to let that ruin my time with the turtles. How dare them? Oh well…. they will be gone soon enough and I’ll still be here with my turtles! Anyway…. on my swim back I ran into another large male turtle and got some good photos too. It might be voggy tomorrow but I hope not…..
Gorgeous day for swimming! Yesterday I got caught in the wind Paddling…… so today I just swam. It’s been windy early and often coming in and out…. so unpredictable. Swimming was great though! Five lovely turtles to swim with and photograph today. It was great!
Beautiful day and seven turtles! I got lots of great shots! The last turtle swam with me down to near the end at Charley Young beach and I was exhausted. It was a great workout!
It was a sunny and breezy Summer day….. very beautiful! It was a nice beach walk and then off for a swim. The water clarity down at the coral was not optimal but at least I could see the turtles! Peekaboo was missing from her hiding spot but five other turtles were hanging around to swim with. The water was a bit choppy too but I wasn’t complaining. I also saw a couple of Barracudas today! I hope it’s nice tomorrow……
What a nice day!!! Ten turtles to swim with today! Peekaboo and Tinkerbell were back in their hiding spots too! It was a joy swimming with the turtles! When I was videotaping one smaller turtle….. I felt something on my back and turned to see that it was Peekaboo on my back! Okay I missed you too! Turtles were everywhere today! Loved it!
What a beautiful day for Fourth of July! Even the wind cooperated. Four turtles joined me at the coral and I loved every minute! It was a great swim and I even took my board out Paddling too! I hope tomorrow is just as nice!
Eventhough a southerly swell has the point visibility kicked up…… I could still see my turtles! Four turtles to swim with today and I even managed to get a photo of a turtle with its mouth open! It was a great swim, but not a Paddling day. The wind was busy blowing the Vog out but now we have a big brush fire burning and the wind is blowing that smoke in our direction. We can’t win…. it smells terrible outside! I hope it passes quickly …..
