Back out on the water!

It was great to get back on the water today.  The day was mostly overcast, with some rolling swells coming from the north.  I enjoyed riding the swells down to the boat ramp.  I didn’t see any sea creatures while I was paddling, but I did get chased by a big, black, carpenter bee!  I couldn’t tell where it went and worried it might be on my back, so while I was trying to brush myself off, I pulled my bathing suit bottom down!  I hope no one was watching!  Paddling back was more of a challenge since I had to paddle against the swell and over them.  During my swim, I saw quite a few fish, and I was even feeling a bit feisty so I chased a “Humuhumu”  fish!  It was so funny watching it zipping around trying to lose me.  It was a very nice Fathers Day for sure.
