Beautiful Paddling!!

OH yes… was so nice this morning!  Yesterday’s conitions did not prevail today.  It was nice and glassy but somewhat overcast.  I was watching north where I could see that it’s was raining pretty hard …. wondering if it was moving in my direction.  I paddled south down to Kam 3 and then turned around just in case.  By the time I got back to Kam 1….. The rain had moved up over the west maui mountains and the sun was trying to come out.  I paddled north almost to Cove Park and then turned around.  It was so beautiful!  My swim was equally as nice but no turtles today.  After swimming,  I noticed it was now raining pretty hard out over Kahoolawe.  Within the hour it started getting windy from the south and that brought the rain cloud in.  Soon it started raining on the beach!  I was glad I had paddled and swam already.  It was time to pack up and head home……..
