Paddling Day!!

It was a very nice morning and paddling was on my agenda!  There was a comfortable breeze blowing from the south and east…… just enough to keep me cool.  I paddled down to the end of Kam 2 and could see that Kam 3 had red flags posted.  It was wavy and a little bit of swell breaking shallow….. But not too bad.  Hardly anyone was out paddling so I was really peaceful  in my solitude.  I turned around at the end of Kam 2 and paddled north.  It was still wavy and I think it was being generated by trade winds way out.  I headed past Kam 1 but the surface of the ocean got kicked up and it seemed like the wind might be changing direction.  I decided to go in and get my swim in.  The water visibility is still poor due to the wind swell activity but at least I got my swim in!  Lately it has been getting kind of funky around 10:00 and 11:00….. with clouds moving in.  There was even a flood watch for the west shore last night.  I hope the weather smooths out soon because I really miss my turtles!
