It’s been so beautiful….. but the wind has been so unpredictable….I went out paddling but turned around at the end of Kam 2.  There were lots of loopy swells to paddle over which led me to believe the wind might come up soon.  By the time I went swimming…… the wind had blown in with a fury!  I swam south and then turned around because it was so choppy.  On my way back……. a turtle was heading right for me so I turned around to swim south again.  It was a friendly turtle and I got lots of photos and videos!  It was a bit difficult swimming in the choppy conditions and trying to photograph….. but I got some great shots!  Then the turtle swam into water with no visibility so I turned around.  Just as I arrived back where I started…… a wind wave knocked my mask and snorkel out of my hand!  I saw it for a brief second…… then it disappeared.  I thought it was gone for good!  Then I suddenly saw it again and grabbed it with my feet and brought it up.  I hope the choppy conditions ease up soon….I need a perfect day!
