Turtle Morning!!

What a stormy looking morning!  We are supposed to get thunderstorms today but I had hoped it would be later.  I walked the beach and it was so humid.  I was dripping with sweat and happy to go swimming sunny or not!  The water is so clear and swimming was great.  I only saw fish today, but I went out Paddling too!  The weather was iffy but I went anyway.  It was pretty nice Paddling down to the boat ramp…. but two outrigger canoes were there with some tourists snorkeling.  I was hoping to have the place to myself.  It took forever for the turtles to surface.  I think they were hiding from the people diving down at them.  The local guys on the outrigger should know better.  Anyway… I ended up with six turtles for the day and got some photos .   Then it seemed the wind might be coming in so I paddled back.  Sure enough…. by the time I got to the end of Kam 3….. it got really windy!  It was a ton of work Paddling against the wind and white caps.  It’s been awhile since I got caught in the wind like that!  It was a real chore getting my board strapped up on my racks in that wind too.  Oh well…. I am glad I got out, who knows what tomorrow might be like?  I’m still waiting for Spring conditions to really kick in….. it’s already April!
