Eleven Turtles!!

Overcast morning again!  I walked in light rain today and it didn’t look promising for a sunrise.  Swimming was great though!  The water is still pretty clear.  When I first went out…. I saw what I thought was a pretty big fish.  Then I thought it might be a dolphin…but it was a bit dark without the sun out.  I finally started to think it might have been a small shark…. maybe four feet long!  I swam in closer to shore and headed south after that.  Then I watched a fish bothering a crab on the move.  After I came in, the ocean really calmed down and the sun started to come out.  I took my board out.  I paddle south and stopped at the point where I was lucky with the turtles!  Eleven of them today!  I paddled farther south and then turned back.  The wind was starting to blow from the north and I was glad I hadn’t gone too far!  I hope the weather improves soon….
