Sunny Day & Five Turtles!!

It was a sunny day today!  The weather has been so weird lately….. clouds, Vog, wind, rain…. you name it!  Okay… maybe not snow, but bad enough.  A sunny day was a welcome change for sure.  I walked the beach as the sun fully came out and then headed out for my swim.  At least the water has been pretty clear through it all. While swimming I even spotted a Starfish!  I couldn’t believe my eyes.  I have never seen a starfish at Kam 1!  I enjoyed the sun sparkling on the coral and the fish busily swimming about.  The conditions were still nice, eventhough I could definitely see white caps out past the boat.  The question is always when will the wind come in.  I took off Paddling and headed north.  Then I turned and headed south.  The ocean got bumpy and then the wind did come in!  I hung at the point…. hoping the wind would back off… but no such luck.  I managed to get five turtles coming up at the point though!  Then it was a struggle Paddling back.  I sure was glad I hadn’t gone too far!  But it stayed sunny at least and it looks promising for a sunset tonight…. stay tuned!
