Beautiful Day!!

Beautiful!

Beautiful!

Wow, what a beautiful day!  The wind wasn’t blowing and the water was calm…. perfect conditions.  I didn’t get out until 9:30 a.m. but I decided to head straight down to the boat ramp anyway.  It was smooth paddling all the way down, even a bit hot since no wind was blowing at all.  There is Vog in the air too and the island of Lanai was barely visible.  I ran into a paddling friend down at the boat ramp, so we chatted for a while and not a single turtle surfaced.  The water visibility was great too but no turtles were around today.  I ended up staying out for an hour and a half though!

Nice!

Nice!

It was hard to come in since it was so nice, but I wanted to get my swim in too.  The ocean water is still so warm!  There were lots of fish down at the reef but no turtles there either.  I hope tomorrow is just as nice and the turtles come out from wherever they are hiding!
