Bumpy Ride!!

The day started out with a rainbow!  Then the wind came up blowing from the north but I was determined to get out paddling anyway.  I decided to head north into the wind and catch a ride back from the wind.  It was a lot of work paddling against the wind!  I made it down to Kalama Park and then turned around but suddenly the wind backed off and it got nice.  Five minutes later the wind whipped up again….. But this time it was blowing from the south!  Then I got to paddle against the wind going back…….. Thanks wind!  On the way back I spotted a turtle cruising.  It was in no hurry so we hung out for a few minutes and I took its picture.  That was a surprise!  By the time I came to shore…… the wind backed off again so my swim was very nice.  The water visibility was pretty good too.  I saw Unicorn fish and Humu Humu fish!  Apparently we could still get some effects from the tropical storms so who knows what tomorrow will be like?  I’m sure glad I got out today……..
