Turtle Gift!!

Today is Mother’s Day and what a beautiful day it was!  Sunny and calm…. perfect for walking and swimming AND paddling!  I enjoyed a wonderful swim with lots of fish and then went Paddling.  It was just a little windy…… comfortable actually.  I knew the trades were supposed to blow today so I figured I had a couple of hours before that happened.  I paddled down to the boat ramp again!  No boats or snorkelers today!  I leisurely had sixteen turtles visiting me.  After the first four turtles there was a lull so I was calling out to the turtles… where are all of you???  No sooner did the words leave my mouth ….. FIVE turtles surfaced one after the other all around me!  I was surrounded!  It was just beautiful down there.  Then one by one…..seven more turtles popped up!  Even a very small baby turtle…… it was so cute and fast as lightning.  I paddled back in still nice conditions and made it in before white caps appeared.  I hope there are many more days like this coming up!
